David Marrison is a seasoned Farm Management Specialist and Interim Director of the Farm Financial Management and Policy Institute at Ohio State Extension. With over 25 years of experience in agricultural education and extension, David brings a unique blend of expertise and humor to the complex challenges of farm succession and estate planning. Raised on a small dairy farm in northeast Ohio, he combines real-world farming experience with deep knowledge of mediation, family dynamics, and financial planning. 

David is a Certified Farm Succession Coordinator, serves as a farm mediator with Ohio Farm Resolution Services, and sits on the Board of the International Farm Transition Network. His practical insights and approachable style have made him a nationally recognized leader in helping families navigate farm transitions.
